Life is Too Short Not
to Find Your Sweet Spot
My oldest son played baseball for 14 years. In that time, I saw hundreds of games and thousands of ‘at bats.’ I’m still blown away by the physics of the game and the near impossibility of a batter actually making contact with a ball going that fast. One of the strategies the batter uses is to wait for their perfect pitch — the one that is at just the right height and position above the plate for them. When they time their swing right and connect with the ball in this “sweet spot,” you can hear and see the power as it erupts from their bat. In this moment, the batter’s swing often looks effortless — like it was the most natural thing in the world.
When it comes to what we do for a living, we all have a sweet spot. It’s the place where your unique combination of skills, abilities, strengths, and temperament overlaps with what you love to do and what the world needs. Your sweet spot is that place where Who You Are overlaps with Who The World Needs You To Be. It’s where you are uniquely powerful, and the impact you have there will often feel natural and effortless.
Most people don’t work in their sweet spot. Many may not even know they have one. Maybe you’re looking for yours, or maybe you’ve found it, but something is holding you back. You are who I want to help. As your coach, I will walk alongside you as you navigate through the fear, wrestle with others’ expectations, and persevere past those pesky lies in your head on your way toward your greatest potential.
I Can Help
I get it. You’re working a job you used to like, that used to fit you, but now something has changed. You’re feeling bored, burned out, or maybe even worse.
I’ve been where you are. I’ve had those mornings when I didn’t think I had the strength to face another day. I’ve even had days when I’ve had to pull off the road on my drive to work so I could try to pull myself together. I know what it feels like. This journey is terrifying and disorienting, but you don’t have to go it alone. I found my path, and I want to help you find yours.
Over the past six years, I have coached within government and in the private sector, and I have helped people with all kinds of challenges — from micromanaging bosses and judgmental family members to deciding to go back to school and pursue a degree. I started Stella Nova Coaching because the more I saw the power of coaching, the greater the impact I wanted to have. I feel particularly called to help frustrated professionals as they struggle to transform their jobs and careers into something that brings them joy, because that was me.
Where are you now?
Where do you want to go?
What are you willing to do to get there?
These three simple but powerful questions can absolutely change your life!
Most people are capable of so much more than they believe. Without ever realizing it, they settle for mediocre instead of aiming for stellar, and ever so gradually life loses its joy. If this sounds familiar, I can help you clarify your goals, hold you accountable for your progress, and pull you out of your comfort zone. I can help you realize your potential—
for success and happiness,
for finding a job/career that feeds your spirit,
for creating relationships you are worthy of, and
for becoming the best possible version of yourself.
We all have goals we want to reach, challenges we’re striving to overcome, and times when we feel stuck. When you work with a coach, you are saying, “I am not content to stay where I am!” You are demonstrating your willingness to put in the work on your path toward a more incredible life.
You deserve this! Don’t EVER believe otherwise.

“In a world full of people, only some want to fly.
Isn’t that crazy?!”
— Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel (known professionally as Seal), “Crazy”
